Hello travellers and explorers,
this is an abslutely historical place of the navigation. Being here means to be at the place of the first school of navigation of Prince Henry the Navigator. At this headland he gathered together the greatest astromoners, cartographers and adventurers of the fifteenth century. The famous names like Magellan and Vasco da Gama studied here at Portugal.
Agree with all explorers – as a destination wedding photographer you are also like this – that this is a magical place to start new adventures and get a more wide opened horizon. Here it’s the so called End of the old world that nowadays attracts a growing number of families, backpackers, divers and surfers. Around this beautiful surfer hotspot you will find lots of great beaches to relax or having fun at the sea.
So I met two young people at this meaningful historical place who made a great adventurous roadtrip through Portugal by van. They told me they visited the North by stopping at Porto. After that they discovered the vibrant city of Lisbon with its typical Fado Rythm. These two cuties, Elena and Antonio, are a spanish couple from the beautiful Seville. That’s also a wonderful city to visit, what I’ve done long time ago. I’m carrying lovely memories with me of this time in Seville. But that’s another story.
Elena and Antonio enjoyed the famous and absolutely marvellous sunset at this historical place at their last day of their roadtrip. This couldn’t be a better thing to finish a wonderful time in Portugal.
I wish them all the best and hopefully having a safe journey home.
